ABOUT JOSH LAVINE

Since 2019, Josh has coached founders, and investors, and executives at leading mission-driven startups and venture capital firms. He specializes in co-founder dynamics and is proud to support many women leaders. Josh\'s coaching synthesizes thousands of hours of training in both mainstream and esoteric modalities, including Integral Coaching®, Gendlin’s Focusing, and researched-based couple’s counseling. He is also a recognized expert in the Enneagram personality system and is Co-Founder of The Enneagram School.Prior to coaching, Josh led L&D at FoodKick, a 200-person startup, where under his leadership, employee NPS rose from 28 into the 60s and annualized turnover fell from 165% to 45%, driven by a holistic redesign of the employee experience focusing on intrinsic motivations such as growth, autonomy, and belonging. Initiatives included creating leadership development programs for mid-level managers, designing career pathways for minimum wage workers, and revising employee facing policies like attendance, PTO, and performance management.Earlier in his career, Josh played piano professionally in dueling piano bars after learning piano from scratch at age 24. Over 6 years, he learned 3 instruments and over songs by ear and became the musically youngest Entertainment Director in company history, leading a team of 8 musicians to perform 6-8 hr shows up to 7 nights a week.
