About Josh Kemp
I lead software teams to deliver on time, with high quality. I do this by bringing calm and clarity to projects that oftentimes are chaotic. I do this by first understanding what the real issues are, coming up with a strategic plan, and then using data-driven communication to share with leadership and improve.I\'m a very passionate person, I am a person of integrity, always doing my very best for the team and the project. I have very strong people skills which has helped me with managing onshore and offshore teams, by building strong relationships built around an environment of trust, to the point where many people have told me it\'s like \"working with a friend\". I love coaching my team(s) in automation / testing best practices and help my team know what to focus on and prioritize, which helps to lower their stress and increases productivity and focus. I\'m always looking for ways to \"add value\" and help unblock / resolve issues. I believe we need to embrace AI-driven tools to improve the speed of software testing. I\'ve led manual, automated, and support teams, as well as owning the production support and release management role for the entire project. I love Claude code, Python, Selenium, and Playwright as my favorite tools. I am innately curious, and love learning new things, I treat people like humans, and not like resources.
