ABOUT JOSH JUDAH
Responsible for managing relationships and promoting best practices with client cities and public safety agencies utilizing SoundThinking\'s SafetySmart platform to help reduce gun violence, improve public safety, and foster community trust. I served 21 years with the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD). Throughout my career I rose through the ranks from patrol officer to Crimes Against Children Unit detective, then through progressive leadership roles ending as Assistant Chief of Police. In this role I was part of the executive leadership team, leading approximately 700 police officers responsible for all aspects of police service to a diverse metropolitan city. I am a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the Southern Police Institute\'s Administrative Officer\'s Course at the University of Louisville, the Academy of Police Supervision at Eastern Kentucky University, and Leadership Louisville\'s Bingham Fellows program.
