ABOUT JOSH HILL
With a career spanning over 20 years, I have built a strong foundation in education, leadership, and community engagement. My journey began in retail management, where I honed my leadership and people management skills, but my true passion emerged in the education sector, where I have worked to enhance student experiences, develop impactful curriculums, and connect educational institutions with their communities focussing on ethical capitalism for education.I have successfully held roles as a 14-19 Coordinator and Functional Skills Coordinator with the North Yorkshire Education Authority, where I was responsible for implementing critical reforms that shaped students\' educational journeys. My role expanded to include Enterprise Education coordination, where I worked closely with schools to engage employers and promote real-world learning opportunities for students.In my role as Head of Music at Boroughbridge High School, I championed creative learning, developing a robust music program while coordinating outreach efforts that demonstrated the value of creativity in education. I extended these principles when I co-founded AMP Awards, a company that has provided young musicians with opportunities to collaborate with local businesses and industry professionals.
