About Josh Hampton

Josh is an experienced Senior Consultant at Envestnet | Tamarac, specializing on the trading and reporting side of the integrated platform suite. He began his professional career as a Client Service Associate at Tamarac in 2011 supporting existing clients with day-to-day questions on both the reporting and trading systems (Seattle, WA). He served as an onsite consultant for 2 years from 2014 – 2016 in Chicago, IL. He then moved back to Seattle, WA to continue working out of Tamarac\'s home office until 2020. Since then he has relocated back to his hometown of Bozeman, MT and is now working remotely full-time. He currently provides onboarding and consulting services to new clients and existing clients alike and is involved in the sales process, training and development process (for internal employees and external onboarding projects), product management, and provides strategy and consulting expertise for mergers and acquisitions (for clients / RIAs).Josh studied Economics and Finance at Gonzaga University. He strives to help his clients with all facets of business management and learning the best practices associated with the Tamarac suite of products. Some of his specialties include: modeling, trading and rebalancing best practices for RIAs and large investment management firms, UMAs and sleeve level reporting and trading, management fee and complex billing best practices, scalable reporting workflows, in-depth performance reporting and comparison strategies in between systems, performance calculations and composite construction and management, API and 3rd party integrations, and how to optimize the client portal experience. Outside of work, his passion is photography, fly fishing, cooking, travel, & ceramics.
