About Josh Girardini
I started my career off with government contracted research and analysis for the DoD. Soon moved into the e-commerce analytics space where I provided in-depth analyses for many AB tests and feature launches and built tableau dashboards for a wide variety of business stakeholders. After spending some time in analytics, I again switched to the world of data engineering - where I currently reside. I am responsible for many business critical ETL pipelines and web applications designed to move and transform data so that it is prepped and ready to be used for informed decision making. Experienced with the following: AWS (primarily s3, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Data Pipelines, EC2), Airflow, Python (pandas, pyspark, flask), Sql (Postgres, MySQL, Presto, Spark), Docker, Elasticsearch, Redis, shell scripting and Linux commands, Tableau, Amplitude, Segment. I have a passion for moving and shaping data to help find out what it can reveal.
