I began my career in stage building with DRJ Crew at the start of summer 2025, where I gained valuable hands-on experience supporting large-scale event setups, such as: Download festival, Creamfields, Reading and Leeds festival, and many more. Working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments taught me how to stay adaptable, solve problems quickly, and deliver results to tight deadlines.Through this role, I built a strong foundation of transferable skills that connect directly to my Business Management studies. Key skills I’ve developed include: • Teamwork & Leadership – collaborating with diverse crews and taking initiative to guide tasks when needed. • Project & Time Management – balancing priorities during stage builds while meeting strict deadlines. • Communication – working with colleagues, contractors, and event managers to align expectations and ensure smooth delivery. • Problem-Solving & Adaptability – responding to unexpected challenges with practical solutions. • Health & Safety Awareness – applying compliance principles that parallel risk management in business. • Resource Coordination – managing tools, materials, and equipment efficiently, a foundation in logistics and operations.Alongside my practical experience, I am studying Business Management, where I’m expanding my knowledge of strategy, leadership, and innovation. My goal is to combine hands-on industry experience with academic insight to create value in future projects and organisations.
