ABOUT JOSH DRAKE
My \"why\" for the work I do is effectively addressing the inequities we have in our society and how we make the world more equitable and just for all. What excites me is the chance to help lead innovative change efforts to deliver on the excellence that everyone in our communities deserves. I have been fortunate across my career to scale up excellence in organizations of varying sizes and sectors (for-profit, non-profit, and the public education sector) to help increase jobs, wealth, and educational success in our most underserved communities. Because I believe that how we do our work is as important as what we do, I try to both model and build a healthy, performance-based culture focused on relationships and delivering on our organization’s goals and promises.My strengths include-Leading and managing at scale-Visioning and implementing innovative change efforts to expand services-Deep K-12 knowledge, particularly in special education, in service of delivering outstanding whole child outcomes (academic, behavior, and social-emotional development) for all students-Strategic planning-Financial modeling and analysis, and -Designing creative staffing solutions, including new pipeline programs, to address critical staff shortages.
