ABOUT JOSH DEXHEIMER

Former Assistant Professor and academic researcher turned full-time industry start-up junkie (executive). I aim to disrupt and innovate within the health and healthcare technology space to improve the lives of billions globally. Currently, VP of Product at Styku. Using biometric data, our product provides users with a health screen in about 30 seconds using a 3D body scanner. I have worked with both direct to consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) brands, taking physical as well as mobile and web-based products from 0 to 1. I take a cross-collaborative and multidisciplinary team approach (marketing, sales, business development, legal and regulatory, software and hardware engineers, designers) and communicate directly with C-Suite executives and key stakeholders to successfully go to market with high revenue generating products.I innovate products within the healthcare and medical technology space to improve people’s health and decrease their pain. I’ve focused on both physical (ie. 3D body scanner, electrical stimulation, CBD, thermotherapy, etc.) as well as software as a service (SaaS) product solutions (ie. Styku, PowerDotMT, etc.). Through internal and external research development, I take a data driven approach to provide efficacy when bringing new products to market. I also work with legal and regulatory teams on patents and FDA applications (Class I & II) as well as physicians and insurers on remote patient and remote physiological monitoring. My scientific background and entrepreneurial spirit are at the core of everything I do. My career began as an entrepreneur in the sport performance and healthcare space. I then transitioned focused on science and research where I published +30 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts as well as +10 white papers. I’ve presented at local, national, and international conferences as a subject matter expert. Lastly, I sat on the University Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviewing other researchers designs. These two points in my career have led me to Health Tech.
