I lead strategic communications for several of Amazon\'s established and emerging social impact initiatives, including The Amazon Housing Equity Fund and Amazon\'s new Community Impact report (a high-level, consumer-friendly report on Amazon\'s social impact commitments and actions). Amazon\'s Housing Equity Fund is the company\'s $2 billion+ commitment to address the critical issue of housing affordability across the companies hometown communities. In my role, I help Amazon communicate about the significant and positive impacts the Housing Equity Fund (HEF) is creating. This includes bringing thousands of affordable homes to communities in the Puget Sound Region, in and around Washington, D.C, and in Nashville, Tenn. In addition to funding thousands of affordable homes, I help elevate awareness of HEF\'s partnerships with minority-led development organizations to help ensure these homes are being created by people from the communities we are focused on serving. I also oversee the development and implementation of Amazon\'s annual Community Impact Report, a public-facing, engaging report of the company\'s significant work to address a range of critical social issues, from access to education, to food insecurity, to housing and more. Here, I lead a team of content creators, designers and project managers to gather data regarding Amazon\'s efforts to address critical social issues and I serve as editor for all report content. Following the creation of this report, I oversaw an outreach campaign in our key markets through a direct mail and digital outreach campaign, and then measured the success of this campaign to understand how we can better engage our audiences and elevate Amazon\'s reputation as community partner and good corporate citizen.
