About José David García-Santiago
Hola hola! I\'m José David García-Santiago, an Industrial Engineer who found his true calling in Product Management. My career journey kicked off within the Management Rotation Program at Capital One, where I had the opportunity to learn and grow in data centric teams. I served as a Process Manager in the Supply Chain Analyst Team, and as a Product Analyst within the Strategic Capabilities Product team. These diverse roles ignited my passion for product management, especially the art of transforming everyday data into innovative products. I now work as a product manager within the New to Credit Acquisitions team in the Credit Card organization. My role is focused on improving the application process for New to Credit customers, mainly students. From application platform migrations, UI/UX improvements, and onboarding alternative data sources for underwriting, my team is continuously looking for ways to minimize friction for our customers who are applying to their first credit card. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outside and with the people I care about. My personality revolves around public transportation, appreciating nature, ideating new products, and reggeaton.
