About José Rentas
Through my experiences at Clemson University, both in and out of the classroom, I\'ve developed myself as a leader, researcher, and product designer. During my time as an undergraduate bioengineering student, I became passionate about what lies within the intersection of engineering and healthcare. This interest is what drew me to pursue a Master\'s degree at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in conjunction with Clemson University\'s Biomedical Engineering department.Why MUSC? As a medical university, MUSC provides several unique opportunities for students enrolled in the Biomedical Engineering program. These include clinical immersion, direct collaboration with clinicians, and working in a premier healthcare educational environment. I\'m excited to take advantage of these opportunities as a graduate student!
