About Joe Ziebell

I am an engineering professional who has built a strong foundation of diverse skills in project management through my first several roles with Turner Construction. My experiences as a Superintendent, Cost Analyst, and now Engineering/Project Management have afforded me expansive knowledge in several pockets of my industry’s business. These assignments have allowed me to refine and develop valuable skills such as problem solving, organization, scheduling, Lean practices, risk analysis, earnings reporting, cost forecasting, auditing, contract compliance, reading technical drawings, financial negotiation, estimating, procurement, and much more. Beyond these operational skillsets, I’ve continued to satisfy my passion for service to the common good by remaining heavily involved as a volunteer for my alma mater, and other philanthropic organizations like Special Olympics or Misericordia Home.

   I am currently a Project Manager for two projects at Northeastern University that combine to over $3M in scope and are scheduled for this Summer 2025. The projects include a dining hall kitchen renovation and an emergency generator replacement for an engineering building. While working alongside a superintendent for each project, I lead all daily communications with the owner and am responsible for keeping the projects on schedule, on budget, safely executed, and built to a high standard of quality. I am managing the projects from start to finish, including procurement and contractor awards, handling all submittals, RFIs, and design team coordination, negotiating change orders, and overseeing a complete and efficient closeout. Each project has unrelated scopes, different design teams, and different NU project managers, offering me the opportunity to further develop my ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
