Built an end-to-end calcium imaging analysis pipeline (Python, Suite2p, ImageJ) for ROI extraction and signal normalization from TIF recordings of brain organoids.Increased ROI detection accuracy from ~50% to over 80% through parameter optimization, filtering, and visual inspection validation.Conducted correlation and partial correlation analysis on ΔF/F calcium traces to infer direct functional connectivity between cells.Designed scientific visualizations (event-centered heatmaps, raster plots, latency scatter plots) to study burst synchronization and signal propagation across organoids.Generalized analysis across biological conditions (pre- and post-organoid contact) to reveal spatiotemporal activity patterns, supporting ML model development on scientific data.
