Joe Ialacci is the founder of Yacht Hampton, a modern class of yacht club setting a newparadigm with a first-of-its-kind Fleet Share™ model, built from his vision for access, ease, andelevated service typically reserved for yacht ownership. Under his leadership, Yacht Hamptonhas grown to more than twenty-five globally-sourced, premium vessels ranging from sixteen feetto sixty-two feet, serving clients in the Hamptons and Palm Beach County. His novel approachcenters on crafting an offering that cannot easily be replicated; one that elevates the traditionalboating experience.Ialacci brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling businesses to YachtHampton. He founded Optisource International in 1995 and led it from a six-product startup in abasement to an industry-leading supplier of more than ophthalmic products serving eyecare professionals worldwide. During his tenure, he invented the world’s first clearultraviolet protection for eyeglass lenses, executed strategic acquisitions, and positioned thecompany for sale to the world’s largest manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and retailerswhere he remained to oversee growth and integration.Raised on Long Island, Ialacci is a lifelong boating enthusiast who first fell in love with the waterat age eleven. He recognized a gap in the luxury charter and yacht club market for consistentlymanaged, high-quality experiences. He founded Yacht Hampton in 2013, initially with a singlevessel, and quickly grew his fleet to meet the high demand.Today, Ialacci guides Yacht Hampton’s strategic direction, focusing on operational excellence,elevated service standards, safety, and expanding the brand’s presence through the continuedevolution of his Fleet Share™ model. Building on this vision, he purchased and renovated aprivate marina in Sag Harbor in 2023, now called Yacht Hampton Boating Club & Marina,establishing it as the headquarters for his fleet with exclusive access for members.
