Responsible for the overall supervision of slot technicians and the repair and maintenance of slot machines. Scheduling for adequate coverage and project needs. Assess strengths and delegate tasks appropriately. Identify weaknesses and provide opportunity for improvement. Strong emphasis on being transparent, fair, and unbiased. Record technicians attendance and performance. Writing yearly evaluations. Knowledge of various EGM and ETG platforms for class 2 and class 3 games from ATI, IGT, LNW, Konami, AGS, Everi, Ainsworth, Novomatic, GA, IT, Bluberi, Zitro, VGT, and IB. Applications experience include Konami SYNKROS, Oracle Discover, IRIS, MEI Cashflow STS, Easitrax Soft Count, and Microsoft Office. Developed Excel workbooks using formulas and VBA for advanced functionality to assist with complex and repetitive tasks more efficiently and effectively. Achieve organizational project goals and objectives in the installation, conversion, relocation, and/or removal of slot machines, signage, and associated equipment. Coordinate closely with gaming auditors, revenue auditors, gaming support analysts, vendor field technicians and vendor remote technicians in all project phases. Ensure planned location of slot machines and signage has sufficient electrical circuits to support amperage requirements. Access subflooring and locate distribution boxes to install electrical whips and floor boxes to meet requirements. Ensure slot machine placement offers sufficient clear space for aesthetics and guest comfort in accordance with safety guidelines. Maintained an in-depth list of network biscuit connections with relevant details for class 2 servers and wide area or multi-bank linked progressives. Verify configuration, testing, and releasing of slot machines for play. Prepare removal, distribution, and record of available in-house progressive funds.
