I build safety systems that keep up with fast-changing operations and I do it by partnering with engineering and operations, not policing from the sidelines. Today I lead multi-site EHS operations at Terumo BCT in Colorado, driving compliance, risk reduction, and Lean/TPM culture change - rolling out an HSMS platform, leadership standards, and a proactive roadmap that’s designed to stick when priorities shift.Before that, I ran Design-for-Safety technical program management at AWS, embedding safety-by-design into hardware and data center engineering at scale. I built and scaled the AWS Safety Innovation Lab (SEA85) and delivered practical solutions: rack mover automation, ergonomic tools, cable-management robotics, and an anechoic testing chamber capable of certifying racks up to lbs - while also standing up predictive risk analytics dashboards grounded in Human & Organizational Performance (HOP).My foundation is 15+ years in global food manufacturing and engineering at Mars/Wrigley: authoring global TPM Safety Pillar strategy, writing machinery/LOTO/electrical/ergonomics standards, and launching a zero-access guarding program that cut machinery-related incidents by 50%+.
