I am responsible for building and maintaining reporting and analytics for our real estate bank line of business. As part of our migration journey from legacy databases to a hadoop environment, I have remodeled the existing database structure into a snowflake schema. The new structure more efficiently drives dashboards and ad hoc reports, decreasing development time, processing resources, and load time. I am currently working with our C-level executives and their teams to develop and validate new portfolio management dashboards and underlying reporting models in Qlik Sense, as well as producing ad hoc analysis in Tableau and Python. I also spend time with technology and analytics leaders in a monthly forum to drive the future of our analytic capabilities. I have provided demonstrations on blending open source data with our current data, as well as highlighting opportunities to reduce costs by leveraging this data instead of third party data streams.
