The Javelin team is comprised of industry experts in the commodity world, with decades of experience at leading commodity and shipping institutions, global investment banks and commodity producers. Prior to Javelin, eight years of private practice experience at HFW, a sector-focused international law firm, specialising in maritime and commodities disputes (charterparty / bill of lading disputes, ship arrest, arbitration and litigation proceedings in England and other jurisdictions), and advisory/drafting work. Developed expertise on international and regional emissions reductions regulations for shipping (e.g. IMO CII / EEXI regulations, EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime). Spent 6 months in HFW’s Melbourne office working on offshore oil and gas disputes during training contract.
