Employed with the Department of Psychiatry in the division of Computational Psychiatry working alongside Dr. Katharina Shultebraucks on NIH-funded grants and international collaborations in the space of artificial intelligence and clinical application. We have launched 3 studies in the wider NYC emergency departments with the aim to: 1) Investigate digital biomarkers as a clinical tool to help providers predict burnout in ED patients who have experienced trauma and may be at risk for PTSD, 2) Assess if machine learning technology could identify features of clinically-related burnout in ED clinicians, and 3) develop a machine learning algorithm to forecast behaviors and expressions of patients at-risk or afflicted with suicidal ideation through speech and linguistic analysis and mobile behavior.
