Lead all aspects of fundraising/development, marketing, communications, and alumni engagement for the University, including major and planned giving, internal university communications, external marketing and advertising, annual giving, special events, database management, etc. • Build and oversee a team of 23 professionals responsible for raising approximately in total giving per year, including about in unrestricted dollars. • Actively manage a robust portfolio of 60 high capacity/principal gift prospects who can help transform the institution; currently working on an 8-figure gift and several 7-figure gifts. • Serve as member of the President’s cabinet, along with my fellow vice presidents, in helping guide key decisions for the institution, including co-directing (in service to the Board of Trustees) the University’s Real Estate Committee that is forming plans for the development of 80-acres of land adjacent to campus. • Act as a key staff-lead to the Board of Trustees of the institution, helping to guide its Advancement Committee, Campaign Steering Committee, Investment Committee, and Nominating Committee.
