As a volunteer with Transformed Minds, an emerging youth organisation dedicated to empowering and equipping young people with the tools and skills to fulfil their potential, I support initiatives that address critical social challenges within the Haringey community. I volunteer in this role due to my passion for creating social impact and helping young people overcome barriers related to mental health, education, and opportunity.Key Responsibilities and Achievements: Supported the delivery of mental health training sessions, helping young people build awareness, resilience, and practical coping strategies. Engaged with young people to explore career prospects and develop their personal and professional aspirations. Collaborated with community stakeholders to co-create holistic solutions to the issues raised by young people across Haringey. Assisted facilitators in delivering workshops on topics such as leadership, financial literacy, and wellbeing. Guided participants in designing vision boards and setting SMART goals to plan their future effectively. Signposted young people to local Haringey services for additional wellbeing, education, and employment support.
