About Josephine Heidkamp

I am currently in my fourth year at the University of Dayton, studying in the School of Business Administration with a major in Accounting. My passion for working with numbers, leading others, and serving my community has guided me throughout my academic and professional journey. I recently accepted a full-time offer to join Plante Moran’s audit team in Chicago starting in August of 2025. This opportunity has been a major milestone in my career, and I’m eager to apply the skills and knowledge I’ve gained during my time at the University of Dayton. For the past five years, I have worked at Levato Salon & Skin Lab in Hinsdale, Illinois—a job that was truly formative for me. My time at Levato strengthened my work ethic and deepened my commitment to the organization and the people I worked with. Supporting a team I genuinely cared about and contributing to an environment built on trust and collaboration made this experience one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. I am incredibly grateful for the professional and personal growth it provided. As I prepare to begin my career with Plante Moran, I look forward to building on these experiences and continuing to grow both personally and professionally!

   After working as an assistant for three years, I was offered a promotion to a more difficult, demanding, and rewarding position in the salon. I am responsible for administering payments, handling inquiries about services, and ensuring customer satisfaction. On a day to day basis, I will schedule appointments, respond to telephone calls, and conduct inventory to assure the business is consistently progressing.
