ABOUT JOSEPHINE HAGE
CtheUnseen: European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 As one of the five flagship projects, the Makers, Business & Arts program develops nine makerhubs in the city and the region, establishes a creative tourism portfolio and makes new connections between companies, creative industries and maker scene. With my background in creative industries research, cross innovation and international cooperation, I have supported creative entrepreneurs and networks since 2010. I am an advocate for culture led development, creativity as a key source for local and regional development and innovation in companies. After six years as co-director of CREATIVE SAXONY (KREATIVES SACHSEN) I contribute to the vision of making Chemnitz a creative friendly destination. I am chairwoman of the board of the umbrella association of German creative industries support organizations and have been co-spokesperson of a network of over 40 organizations on local and state level.
