ABOUT JOSEPHINE ESCARIO
As a first-year student at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, I am working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, with an expected graduation in May 2029. My academic background also includes coursework at Montgomery College in Accounting and Business/Management, which has strengthened my foundation in these fields. Currently, I contribute as an Ambassador for the Smith Business Leadership Fellows Program and previously served on the Community Service Committee of the Women in Business Association at UMD, which has contributed to my strength in communication skills. My experiences as a Barista at Starbucks and an Intern at World Financial Group have equipped me with customer service, time management, and leadership skills, which I aim to leverage in future opportunities. I am motivated to expand my expertise and make a meaningful impact through internships in accounting and finance.
