An all round role where every day was very varied. Although my job title was office manager, it was more an all around running of the business from sales and marketing, quotes and sales orders and following up on new and existing business as well as management of suppliers and customer requirements, whilst ensuring that the current order book is all running to schedule.• Management of inbound deliveries which include booking in stock and QC checks, before ensuring relevant stock is correctly stored in a temperature controlled environment e.g. ESD (electrostatic discharge) area. • Management of outbound orders which include packing and ensuring relevant paperwork is included, booking deliveries and collections.• Purchase Order and Invoice management.• Maintenance of traceability records for all stock.• Aged Debtors and open order report management. • Customer statement management and the chasing of overdue invoices.• EOM Reports including BOS Reports and exchange rate updates.• We also look after some smaller businesses in terms of their admin and shipping requirements.
