I build design systems and I care about accessibility the way some people care about human rights - because it is one. Inaccessible interfaces are not a UX problem. They are a political one. I have spent my career being loud about that.Seven years at Amazon as a founding engineer on the Meridian design system. I led accessibility across our React component library, built the architecture, and spent more time than I would like to admit arguing that \"it would take too long to make it accessible\" is not a reason, it\'s an excuse. We shipped it accessible anyway.Before that, I won a CLIO Award for the LA Dodgers Digital Trading Room. A sports data visualization that went to Cannes.
