My name is Joey Earl, and I am a sophomore at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University – Bloomington, pursuing a degree in Finance. With a 3.82 GPA and recognition as a Founders Scholar and Dean’s Scholarship recipient, I am committed to academic excellence. Outside the classroom, I stay involved on campus and enjoy staying active through competitive environments that push me to think strategically and perform under pressure.My past experiences—including serving as Treasurer and later State Convention Representative for the Junior Statesmen of America, as well as Co-President of my high school Chess Club—shaped my foundation in leadership, organization, and analytical thinking. My internship with Morgan Stanley strengthened my skills in stock market analysis, risk assessment, and long-term investment strategy. Additionally, my work at Philly’s Best Sandwich Shop gave me hands-on exposure to business operations, customer interaction, and financial responsibility. Growing up north of Los Angeles and working across diverse roles taught me resilience, strategic problem-solving, and the importance of adding value to any team I join.Looking ahead, I am focused on developing a strong, well-rounded business education and building experience in financial planning, wealth management, and investment strategy through organizations such as the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Club at IU. My long-term goals are to contribute meaningfully to an organization that values disciplined decision-making, embraces calculated risk, and navigates challenges with resilience.
