Provides education to 5-7 Interventionists at any given time. Interventionists provide services including strategic family and systems-level interventions, health systems integration and patient needs alignment, and resource access for family and patient optimization. Duties also include conducting home visits, attending medical appointments, and providing 24/7 support. By virtue of the role, NICH Clinical Educators provide a commitment to be available for their patient as needed. This could include coming in or answering questions overnight and/or on weekends. Lead work responsibilities are part of this classification and therefore employees in this classification are not eligible for the lead worker differential.Meets with assigned Interventionists for at least one hour/week and provides ad hoc support 24/7 to address patient-related concerns Provides clinical oversight for patients of Interventionists and provides coverage as needed Supports interventionists with regular engagement with self-care Works with NICH Program Manager to enforce expectations and invest in growth of supervisees by monitoring and fostering career goals Oversees and helps to support adherence to weekly chart notes for Interventionists Contributes to annual and bi-annual evaluations for Interventionists they have trained Completes periodic wellness assessments to ensure that Interventionists are regularly engaging in self-care Attends and leads Clinical meetings Provides support and encouragement to colleagues Shares resources that may be applicable to other cases Provides ad hoc updates on patients and spending for fundraising and grant reports Provides ad hoc updates and support with NICH’s annual fundraiser, Hike for their Health, in the form of staffing the event, providing NICH stories, and assisting in communications about the event, as needed
