About Joseph Abad

I design inclusive learning experiences that blend career development, community storytelling, and human-centered strategy. With over a decade of leadership experience across higher education, arts administration, retail, and nonprofits, I create programs that are feedback-informed, accessible, and grounded in real human connection. As Assistant Director at Trinity College’s Career and Life Design Center, I guide students in the arts, communications, and marketing fields—helping them clarify their goals, build confidence, and develop actionable career strategies. I’ve facilitated 900+ coaching sessions, led workshops for students, and managed internship partnerships with over 30 community organizations. Outside of higher ed, I’m a grant-winning photographer and program designer. I’ve documented cultural events for organizations like UCONN and the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, produced branded storytelling campaigns for local nonprofits, and led a grant-funded project amplifying BIPOC voices in entrepreneurship and literacy. At the core of everything I do is a commitment to learning that sticks—and sparks something meaningful.
