Legal Intern with Zinnia Tech Solutions LLC’s Legal, Compliance and Risk (LCR) team. Researches legal issues from industry regulations, privacy, technology and other emerging legal issues, drafts contracts and one-pagers to legally guide teams, maintains as well as updates LCR databases and repositories, and more.Served as the team lead on the intern project team, digital tool optimization review. Coordinated research efforts and conducted interviews of Zinnia team members in order to gauge inefficiencies in the company\'s use of digital tools including SLACK and Jira. For example: Drafted a consent agreement for external guests on the marketing team\'s podcast to sign, which the one-pager in that case accompanied; Provided the talent acquisition team with a one-pager concrete guide on complying with laws and contractual agreements when employing candidates.Researched vendor access to Protected Health Information (PHI) in order to determine which entities need to be HIPAA compliant, and sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA).Assisted the legal team\'s efforts in building/creating a GPT to simplify the process of drafting responses to customer escalations.
