About Joseph Vaughan
Mr. Vaughan has been practicing for 35 years and focuses his practice in employment and professional liability litigation and risk management. Mr. Vaughan has extensive experience in defending insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insureds in these types of matters, as well as counseling various business organizations in risk assessment, management and finance. Joseph Vaughan is a regular speaker and contributor to the Pennsylvania Self Insureds Association and has spoken for the National Constitution Center on the interplay between workers’ compensation, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the American Disability Act. He has also addressed industry groups on the occupational hazard of MRSA and also H1N1 and the potential impact on employment practices. He is a member and regular speaker with PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriters Society), PLAN (Professional Liability Attorney Network) and DRI (Defense Research Institute). Mr. Vaughan is licensed in Pennsylvania and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, Eastern District of Arkansas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third, Eleventh and Federal Circuits and before the U.S. Supreme Court. Education Joseph E. Vaughan received his J.D. from Villanova School of Law and earned his B.S. from the University of Scranton.
