ABOUT JOSEPH TETREAULT
Over my career as an environmental consultant, I have reviewed, designed, implemented and reported on various types of aquatic monitoring programs throughout North, Central and South America. My goal is to provide a scientifically defensible yet cost-effective monitoring program that answers the questions posed by both environmental managers and other stakeholders. Environmental managers appreciate my personal attention to their projects and my willingness to engage stakeholders and regulators on their behalf to reduce redundancy in their monitoring programs and ensure that their monitoring requirements as science-based. I understand that not all stakeholders have the same technical understanding and that communicating the results of these monitoring programs in plain language that is easily understood is vital for a successful project. I have 16 years of experience as an aquatic biologist focused on the resource sectors (mining and wood pulp), energy sectors (nuclear and thermal) and food manufacturing in support of: • environmental effects monitoring,• regulatory permit and mine closure plan monitoring,• environmental impact assessments, • environmental baseline studies,• wastewater characterization, and • regulatory permits and approvals. Knowledge, experience and effective communication – at EcoMetrix we leverage our ‘Environmental Intelligence’ to tailor strategies and solutions that enhance your business planning and practices.
