ABOUT JOSEPH SCHNEIDER
I strive to learn more about the dynamic world of professional liability every day and bring my knowledge to the table to solve problems for my clients. My experiences as a claim adjuster, marketing executive, retail agent, company underwriter, technology product manager and most recently as a broker give me a unique perspective. As a Vice President and Practice Leader for Jimcor Agencies, I am currently producing new business and leading a team of 10 professional liability brokers and assistants in the negotiation and placement of errors and omissions, directors and officers, employment practices and related coverages. My involvement in the Insurance Industry began in 1992 as a college sophomore, graduating from LaSalle University in 1994 with a degree in Finance and Risk Management. I have been a member of PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriting Society) since and obtained the RPLU (Registered Professional Liability Underwriter) designation in 2002. I served on the PLUS Midatlantic Chapter Board for a full 6 year term ending in 2014. My current educational goals include achieving the RPLU+ designation in the near future.I have presented insurance continuing education seminars to many agencies in NY, NJ, MA and PA and I have also spoken before groups such as the Camden/ Gloucester Real Estate Brokers Association, NY Young Insurance Professionals, PIANY/NJ, Independent Agents of Rockland County NY, and the Insurance Women of NY & TX.I love what I do each day, especially when I am able to mentor my colleagues or solve a difficult challenge and bind the account.Specialties: Professional LiabilityErrors and OmissionsDirectors and OfficersData Privacy & Security, Cyber liability
