About Joseph Schneider
Joseph Schneider is the president of JSA Partners, Inc. previously known as JSA International. Since founding the practice in 1981, Mr. Schneider has been focused on providing strategic advice to senior corporate management in the aerospace, defense and security industries, as well as industrial policy support to the U.S. Department of Defense. From 1990 to 1994, Joseph also managed the firm’s Paris office.From 2019 to 2021 Joseph was a Strategic Advisor with Cypress International. In 2018 Joseph was the Republican Candidate for Congress in Massachusetts Sixth District and received over 100,00 votes.JSA International was acquired in 1994 by Electronic Data Systems, which was later merged into their consulting subsidiary AT Kearney, where Joseph served as the engagement director. In 1997, Joseph and key associates re-established JSA Partners as an independent, strategy focused consulting organization.Joseph has had the privilege of being a member of the Board of Directors for three defense companies and he directly facilitated the sale of each company to a strategic buyer:• Signal Technology (19••••03) – $100 million defense electronics company traded on NASDAQ, acquired by Crane.• United Industrial:(19••••04)$500 million dollar defense systems & services company traded on the NYSE, later acquired by Textron.• NovaSol (20••••16) –Employee-owned defense hyperspectral imaging and communications company acquired by Corning.He served for 17 years in the US Army, primarily as an infantry officer and in Special Forces units.Joseph holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School; a master of arts degree in international relations from the University of Southern California; and a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Joseph has also completed a year of postgraduate studies at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He grew up in Bucharest, Paris and the Bronx, and he is fluent in English, French and Romanian.
