ABOUT JOSEPH REMENDA
Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in December 2017 and am currently working at Strathcona Resources as a Completions Engineer.My career in the oil & gas industry started when I was 18 years old as a green hand on a hydraulic fracturing crew for Sanjel. I have worked my way up the hydraulic fracturing ladder from Iron Truck to Sand Operator, Pump Operator, and Quality Control Technician. In the summer of 2017 I worked for Magnum Cementing Services as an Operator for the summer and gained valuable experience in the completions sector before going back to Montana to finish my degree.After graduating at Montana Tech, I worked with STEP Energy Services from June 2018-May 2022 as a technical specialist in the Coiled Tubing division. I became confident with writing technical programs for a variety of interventions along with optimizing string design to maximize reach.
