This program can be Boy only/ Girl only/ Family- Boys & Girls units.Scouts BSA, the path to Eagle Scout, is for Boys & Girls if they are at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade, and register on or after March 1st; OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old; OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18. This program is Boy-only/ Girl-only/ Family- Boys & Girls units.Sea Scouting and Venturing are for young men and women at least 13 years old who have completed the eighth grade, or are age 14 and not yet 21. This program is a CO-ED unit.Exploring clubs serve middle schoolers, aged 10 – 14, in sixth through eighth grades. Exploring posts serve older youth 14 – 20 years old.I am an experienced Maritime Enforcement Officer, Incident Manager, Emergency Management Specialist, Merchant Mariner, Pollution Responder, Federal On-Scene Coordinator, Marine Inspector, Marine Surveyor, Marine Casualty assessor, Shoreside Facilities, and Shipping Container examiner with a demonstrated history of working in the Maritime and Military industries. Skilled in Port State Control Examinations to include Freight: Grain Ships, Bulker, RO-ROs, General Dry Cargo, Heavy Lift, Refrigerated Cargo, Container Vessels, Passenger, Tank, Chemical, Oil, and Gas carriers. Domestic Marine Inspections of Towing, SPV T&K, Tank Barges, Offshore Supply Vessels, Lift Boats. Detailed inspections on vessels with the following Hulls: Steel, Aluminum, FRP, Composite, and Wooden.
