In an extremely volatile market, buying fuel in bulk is challenging and rewarding at the same time. As the lead purchaser for Fuelfilled, an on-site diesel delivery company, I am constantly getting questioned about the decisions I make. Determining the amounts of fuel needed for our customers on a daily basis is not an exact science. I take extreme caution in purchasing the correct amounts as the prices are constantly fluctuating, which can result in large financial losses (or gains) for the company and customers alike.
