ABOUT JOSEPH P. FALINSKI
Joseph P. Falinski, Pharm.D, BCACP is the Associate Director for Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy at Boston Medical Center, managing all personnel (40 FTE) and operations in the development of enhanced ambulatory pharmacy and medication refill services. Prior to BMC, he was a clinical pharmacist managing chronic disease patients at Cambridge Health Alliance, a referral-based primary care service in Cambridge, MA. He earned his Pharm.D. from Northeastern University, where he also completed his residency in 2012 with a focus on ambulatory care and teaching with Harbor Health Services in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood. He has worked with Health Volunteers Overseas in Kampala, Uganda to help implement best practices at the Mulago National Referral Hospital and Makerere University School of Pharmacy. His interests include population health, policy improvement, and incorporating pharmacists into innovative, team-based ambulatory practice sites.
