I am very zealous about solving real-life issues, especially the ones that have ripple effects. IT/IS security is the medium through which I express my passion. Having functioned in projects such as IS Audit, Information Security Risk Management (GRC), Third-Party Risk Consulting, SDLC using agile methodologies, and IT Compliance have helped me to develop experience, proper work ethics, attention to details, and team spirit. Some of my engagements have particularly been in the areas of controls testing, SOX compliance, segregation of duties, change management, business requirements definition and process documentation, vulnerability analysis, and data cryptography. Furthermore, I have experience in using the NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS V7.1, COSO internal control framework, and IT control objectives (COBIT) guidelines. I also have a good understanding of industry standards such as ITIL, ISO domains, SSAE 16 & 18, PCI DSS, SOC reporting, and incident response.
