   Joe\'s performing and professional career has taken him on a trek around the world and back again. Shortly after entering James Madison University, Joe won a coveted spot in the Madisonian\'s University Show Choir, founded by the university\'s president as a traveling public relations and high energy performance arts troupe. His confidence grew on stage and off as public speaking before large groups of high school students and administrators about his college experience was part of the gig. He went on to earn a BA in English Literature and Paralegal Studies from JMU. The train bound for law school was hijacked by a performing arts career starting with the Madisonians, which quickly led to theme park work (King\'s Dominion in Richmond, VA and King\'s Island in Cincinnati, OH) then took him across America and Canada in the role of a \"Jet\" on a National Touring Production of West Side Story. Next he jumped ship in Jamaica, as a cruise ship performer and cruise staff public relations member. He journeyed still further abroad with the USO, as an entertainer and civilian ambassador for American troops. He touched ground again north of the Florida Keys to sing for \"The Mouse\" in two long running productions at Disney\'s Magic Kingdom where he would meet fellow performer and his future wife, Amy. ​Joe served for 10 years as Executive Director of the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State and then moved on to be a sales consultant with Sysco Foods, a Fortune 100 restaurant distribution company.​He and Amy co-founded the Moss Performing Arts Academy in 2002, where he has found ultimate artistic fulfillment by working with children and young adults to develop their confidence and skills on stage through musical theater and as a vocal coach. Moss Speaks is the obvious and necessary next stage which Joe is excited to share with adults who want to build confidence and enhance their public speaking skills.
