   Reporting to the Winthrop University President, the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing establishes, implements, and maintains an integrated enrollment and university communication and marketing strategic plan that sets forth a path to achieve undergraduate student enrollment goals with regard to increasing enrollment, the quality of the students, diversity among the student body, and retention. Serving as the chief enrollment and marketing officer for the university, the Vice President is also responsible for oversight of student financial aid programs that meet state and federal compliance requirements, and for administering aid and scholarship programs that enhance student enrollment and retention while promoting overall university financial stability. The Vice President partners with other vital campus units to develop, articulate, and implement enrollment and financial aid plans that optimize growth opportunities in alignment with the university’s vision and mission. This includes a strategy of monitoring, forecasting, and predictive modeling associated with institutional, statewide, regional and national data and initiatives affecting student enrollment patterns relating to student quality, diversity, and retention.
