ABOUT JOSEPH MEISTER

Cyberspace civilian with the United States Air Force. Presently in a cyber-intelligence integration position working with worldwide customers to formulate strategic and operational plans, formerly I was the Chief of Cyber Training for three cyber protection teams focusing on defense of the AFIN. Advised the unit on technical and cyber related challenges affecting our operations within the cyber domain. Additionally the creative juice behind the direction of our training, operations, and techniques/tactics/practices. Completed Network Warfare Bridge and Cyber Warfare Officers courses, SANS GSEC certification as well as the SANS GCFA and the cyber vulnerability assessment-hunt course. Member of an Air Force Cyber Protection Team. Previously completed a 17 month tilt with the United States Transportation Command\'s Joint Cyber Center as the Deputy Chief of Cyberspace Operations. Managed the day-to-day cyberspace operations for the Command with 81+ programs of record, many devices and diverse networks, synchronized operations, intelligence, and networking in to a cohesive and powerful team. Lead from the front as the innovator of everything cyber-new.I was hand-picked repeatedly for every new cyber-whatever. Developed many of the Command\'s cyber standards, cyber procedures, and cyber policy while implementing those developments in near-real-time. Challenge accepted on every twist and turn. Additionally I managed to accomplish an Air National Guard position as the Director of Operations in a cyberspace communications unit and on top of that taught at Lindenwood University as an Adjunct Professor teaching a Master\'s course in the Cyberspace Ethics, Law, Forensics, and Testimony.
