I have worked for the Environmental Protection Agency since 1997 and provide engineering support to EPA\'s mobile source regulatory programs. My current position description is Senior Mechanical Engineer and EPA National Expert on internal combustion engines, light-duty and heavy-duty vehicle emissions control, electric drive systems, and exhaust emissions measurement and characterization. I have authored or co-authored 50 peer-reviewed technical and journal papers. I serve as the U.S. representative to the UN-ECE GRPE Automotive Life-Cycle Assessment Informal Working Group.I have a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Minnesota and I was one of the original co-founders of the University of Minnesota Center for Diesel Research.
