TEMPEST testing is conducted in accordance with test memoranda written and issued by the NSA under the guidance of the Committee on National Security Systems and National Security Telecommunication and Information Systems Security National Managers.TEMPEST testing addresses the confidentiality and integrity of systems to ensure appropriate measures are taken to protect all Air Force information systems that process national security information.TEMPEST provides: State of the art mobile testing labs, executing RF assessments of aircraft, equipment, and facilities throughout the world. Technical reports to the Air Force TEMPEST authority for Approval to Operate, risk mitigation strategies, and operational recommendations. RF assessments and evaluations in support of other 346 Test Squadron test teams.
