In alignment with my doctoral research interests, coordinate and support the growth of our district’s innovative opt-in Vietnamese Dual Language Immersion Program in collaboration with a nationwide network promoting Dual Language Immersion for Asian languages through organizations such as the National (NABE) and California Associations of Bilingual Education (CABE) and CSU Fullerton\'s National Resource Center for Asian Languages (NRCAL).Provide TK-5 site leadership by coordinating the standard program and enhancements through ASES partners and STEAM partners at a school providing PBIS, NGSS, and SEL programming.Utilizing expertise as a site leader of an Asian language DLI program to consult the CABE Asian Languages Committee in preparation for the 2023 CABE Asian Languages Program to host DLI educators from across the state at the Long Beach Convention Center.As the association treasurer, manage local Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) chapter finances for the Alum Rock Administrators Association (ARAA) and advise the executive cabinet on chapter-funded initiatives.

ABOUT JOSEPH MARQUEZ MANLUCO
Dr. Joseph Marquez Manluco is an accomplished education leader and strategist with experience spanning K–12 systems, higher education, and corporate training. He drives institutional transformation through innovative digital learning strategies, data-informed instruction, and authentic multilingual community partnerships.As the founding leader of Northern California’s second Vietnamese Dual Language Immersion program in Silicon Valley, Dr. Manluco helped shape a statewide model for Asian language immersion and equitable access to multilingual learning. His doctoral research on language programming surveyed international, statewide, and local models to inform his approach to leadership, program design, and policy implementation.He partners with universities, local agencies, and education organizations to develop forward-thinking policies and scalable school improvement models. Dr. Manluco’s work centers on preparing learners and institutions to excel in a global, technology-driven future—where multilingualism and digital fluency are key drivers of success.
