I started my career as a computer field service technician with a small private company. After a year of experience under my belt, I received my MCSE and became a Senior Network Engineer for a company called Axsun Technologies. In this role I was part of a team that supported 200+ end users, in a windows environment, which included a Microsoft Exchange server, an ADP payroll platform and several file servers.Three years later and looking for a more challenging position, I became the network administrator for Accion International, a Micro Finance institution, where I supported multiple data centers in a global setting. After 6 years as Network Administrator, I was promoted to Program Manager of IT for Accion International.In this role, I established a track record of driving business performance across departments through the development of Technology Strategy, Business Continuity, IT Governance, Policies and Procedures and IT infrastructure that meet business imperatives.I bring technical, interpersonal, and business expertise to foster innovation while building successful internal relationships based on like and trust, while collaborating with C-Level management on technical ideas based on business goals, as well as to identify opportunities for improvement and gain buy-in from internal key stakeholders for new technology implementations.My experience includes leading cross-functional teams in a global setting to develop and implement cost-effective, high-return IT solutions that ensure a secure, streamlined operating environment for all IT systems, including vendor management, SLA’s and contract negotiations. I bring energy, a great work ethic, integrity, and an unrelenting mindset to overcoming obstacles by strategically and methodically figuring out solutions.
