As Deputy Director of the Office of Economic Growth, I provide strategic direction to an office of 30 staff across five technical teams, including overseeing USAID\'s largest Feed the Future (FTF) agricultural development program. I manage a diverse portfolio of thirty projects in horticulture, livestock, dairy, aquaculture, trade, policy reform, nutrition, and agricultural research programs valued at over $400 million and an annual budget of $72 million. I also oversee climate change, clean and renewable energy, national forests and endangered species conservation, and environmental protection programs. I mentor and coach three U.S. Direct Hire supervisors and represent the USAID Mission on agricultural policy with the Government of Bangladesh, other donors, implementing partners, the private sector, and in inter-agency forums. I lead coordination with and advise the Asia Bureau and the Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS) on food security issues in Bangladesh.
