ABOUT JOSEPH LEMOINE
Joseph Lemoine is an associate in FNF’s New York office, where he focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration. He has experience representing emerging technology companies, entrepreneurs, and investors navigating complex regulatory and litigation challenges, including antitrust matters, ownership and compensation disputes, contract disputes, and issues involving mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. On the plaintiff side, Joseph focuses on antitrust class actions across various industries.Trained in both the United States and France, Joseph offers clients a distinctive perspective shaped by a decade of international experience at the intersection of law, policy, and diplomacy.Before joining FNF, Joseph served as senior director of the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center and was a private sector specialist at the World Bank, where he advised governments, development finance institutions, and global investors on business climate reform, regulatory governance, and rule of law initiatives across Africa and the Middle East. This experience informs his approach to representing clients facing complex regulatory environments and institutional challenges.Recognized for his expertise on legal and economic reform, Joseph has authored reports, academic works, and op-eds—including in The Washington Post, Devex, and The National Interest—and frequently speaks on issues of democracy and governance. He currently serves as vice-chair for programs of the International Investment and Development Committee of the American Bar Association and is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.
