ABOUT JOSEPH LAWRENCE
Joseph Lawrence is the CEO of MeSearch, a platform technology company, Vice President of Development and Investments of 535media and General Counsel for both 535media and Trib Total Media. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law. In 2015, as outside counsel assisting Trib Total Media with its efforts to transform and reorganize, he was instrumental in bringing 535media to life in order to increase digital and creative capacity. Joe manages the strategic and financial investments at 535media and co-founded the joint venture which became MeSearch. Joe has over 30 years of business, legal and transactional experience as well as a passion for digital media, digital advertising and e-commerce. He served as a managing partner at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and on its executive committee where his is now \"of counsel\". He has significant expertise in commercial litigation, real estate, banking, complex restructurings and mergers & acquisitions and continues to maintain a commercial law practice. Joe has held a seat on the Board of Directors for Trib Total Media and related companies since 2016. All of this experience has given him the ability to develop a strategic plan for a full service digital agency with unlimited growth opportunities building on the foundation of a well established traditional media company. This experience has provided the basis to launch an artificial intelligence technology platform for publishers and individuals. In his legal practice, Joe is Board Certified by the American Board of Certification in the area of Creditors\' Rights and has actively practiced law since 1992. He has been a Board Member of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association and is a member of the bars of the following Courts: Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Western District of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
